So, back in March, I posted my feelings about Donald Trump and the GOP. Apparently, the GOP doesn't read my little blog, because between that post and this one, the have nominated and continued to back Donald Trump, or as Rosie O'Donnell calls him, "that orange piece of shit."
As a self-admitted sexual predator, Donald Trump has padded his resume as the biggest douchebag in the world, on top of admitting to betraying all of the values that his supporters laud him for being a model example of.
I do not like to associate myself with stupid people. That is why I changed my party affiliation from Republican to Independent this year. While dishonesty is not a trait that I look for in my president, all of the traits that Donald Trump displays make a dishonest person preferable. That being said, I will vote for Hillary Clinton for one reason, and one reason alone: so that when Donald Trump faces his greatest failure and utter humiliation and the Republican party is left an empty shell of itself, I can say that I was a part it.
The GOP, as I previously stated, sold its soul for power. First, they invited the christian right, then the tea party kicked down the door, and now they have this racist, sexist, xenophobic, tax-evading, self-centered, psychopathic, hypocritically misanthrope and all of his followers. So now, the GOP is the party of misinformed old people, uninformed young people, and white supremacists, all of whom believe that god and Donald Trump are their salvation. The only hope that America has is that most of the Fox News watching voters will die before the 2020 election.
