WWE, WTF?

So, I managed to catch Monday Night Raw and was amused and annoyed with it, as usual, but something left a sore taste in my mouth.  Here is what happened:

Some pseudo-patriotic segment for Memorial Day, cold open, blah, blah, blah, a match, a backstage segment, some self-promotion, blah, blah, blah, callback to prior backstage segment, more of the usual, and the closing segment.

That pretty much sums up any episode of Raw, but now I will elaborate on last night's episode specifically.  The backstage segment has Dean Ambrose accidentally striking a cameraman.  For anyone that has watched WWE for at least 2 years, the arrest angle was easy to spot.  The callback has Dean Ambrose getting arrested and being put in the back of an NYPD paddywagon.  As is always the case with Dean Ambrose, he escapes and makes his return in the closing segment, driving said paddy wagon, while wearing an NYPD uniform.

Here is the problem: last night's episode of Monday Night Raw aired from the Nassau Coliseum, in Uniondale, which is 10 miles outside of the jurisdiction of the NYPD!  The announce team went to great pains to state that it would be the last episode to air from that arena and even went so far as to list the historic events that occurred there, including the accomplishments of the Islanders and the Nets.  With all of the effort to recall the history of the building that you are in, how is it that you let this vital detail in the main plot of your flagship product get screwed up?

This is careless and/or lazy.  To add insult to injury, Stephanie talked about how tirelessly the WWE staff works to put on the show.  Apparently, someone didn't work tirelessly enough; my guess would be the person who thought that the Nassau Coliseum was in New York City.
