I know it's been a long time, but I have had a lot of personal matters to deal with. That said, I have been hearing about the water situation, that in my opinion amounts to a crime against humanity.
In my honest opinion, each and every citizen of Flint, Michigan should file a lawsuit for actual damages against whoever they paid their water bills to, since the beginning of this whole debacle, and punitive damages against the state, the governor, and the emergency manager.
Maybe then, all of those selfish, tea-party, not wanting to pay taxes in the suburbs douchebags will finally realize that there is a reason why taxes exist and why a good citizen does what is good for society.
All of these tea-party people don't want to pay for schools for any kids other than their own, but they are more than happy to pay for cops to shoot or arrest those same kids that they could have educated.
They elected a republican legislature and governor to lower their taxes. Well, who do they think is going to compensate the citizens of Flint?
